Driving up to the castle

Since the beginning of February 2020, the regular access route to the castle has been completely closed for all vehicles over 3.5 tons. This means that coaches cannot take the usual route via Neue Schlossstraße, but must drive to the castle via Rohrbach Süd / L600 / Gaiberger Weg / Molkenkurweg.

This means that the buses have an extended journey time of approx. 23 minutes (calculated from Heidelberg Autobahn Kreuz). The departure from the parking lot into the city is not affected.
